Affiliates

Affiliates of the HomeNet Project are official sponsors of HomeNet research. Affiliates are provided with information about project results prior to publication and have access to the lead researchers in the Project.

Some benefits enjoyed by all Affiliates are:

  • Affiliates have the opportunity to sponsor new research by HomeNet in their areas of specific interest.
  • Affiliates are invited to a yearly meeting where the latest results and future directions of HomeNet are presented. This meeting is also an opportunity to meet with all the researchers on the project and discuss areas of particular interest.
  • Regular progress reports are sent to all Affiliates during the year to provide insight on the current results.
  • Affiliates' names are listed on all official papers and reports generated by the project.

HomeNet is currently funded by grant IIS-9900449 from the National Science Foundation. In the past, HomeNet was funded by NSF grant IRI-9408271.

Becoming A HomeNet Affiliate

The yearly sponsorship for a HomeNet Affiliate is twenty-five thousand dollars. Funding levels can vary depending on the degree of collaboration and interaction. All sponsor funds contribute directly to research costs; no overhead is charged.
